Hi!  My name is Jennifer.

I was looking for new ways to make extra money when I happened upon HubPages (click here to join).  I love to write, so I thought this like a nice place to start freelance writing.

I am an outspoken person and lack self-consciousness 90% of the time.  Sometimes, this gets me into trouble.  I speak my mind and have no problem "saying it like it is."  Sometimes, I offend people, but my philosophy is this, "If the truth hurts, change it."  Check out my hub Keep It Real: Be True To Yourself.

Another passion of mine is my grandchildren.  My stepdaughter has blessed me with two beautiful grandbabies and I enjoy spending time with them.  Experiences of a Stepmother is a small story of my experiences with my stepdaughter.

I am an advocate for sexual assault victims and write articles about women's safety.  Get The Facts On Sexual Abuse gives good insight into the issues regarding sexual predators in our society.

Another favorite pastime of mine is gardening, and I love growing my vegetables each year.  Raised Beds: Time Saving Ways to Garden is an interesting article revealing the benefits of gardening with raised garden beds.
